Danaerys Confident - Bold - Arrogant Meerathial, Meera as she called her in private, was a welcome respite. Many in the clan were weary of the Skydancer, whether that was due to her mother's viewpoint or some other reason, Danaerys was unsure. It was Danaerys who had found her and known at once it was important for her to bring the Plagueling home. Though it was Naerys who formed her, it was Meera who shaped her. Danaerys was cognizant enough to recognize her mate's touches in her own life. |

Biography born of shadows, a birth that illuminated the darkest of hours Danaerys hatched from her egg when her mother was still content in the shadowed tangled woods. Occasionally she dreams of siblings she knows she did not have. She alone was chosen. She was special, raised to be her mother's daughter, the heir to the clan. Under her mother's careful tutelage she grew confident and bold. Second only to her mother in battlefield prowess, she retained a taste for the finer things in life. Though physically strong, intimidating even, she favored delicate accessories over armor. Her father was a mystery to her, nothing at all like her mother. He was soft, emotional, and she often caught him looking at her with such profound sadness, she found she could not tolerate his presence for long. Naerys' favoritism towards her daughter was never hidden, and though she would be loathe to admit it, it hindered any meaningful relationship with the others in the clan. Until she found Meerathial. More surprising than finding such a kindred soul, was her mother's distrust of the new bond. While it has strained their relationship, mother and daughter spend most evenings together, while the others bed down to welcome sleep. Their whispers echo through the corridors, unintelligible. |
