When she was young, Twilight's family was struck by tragedy: one of her grandparents died in a sudden, unexpected accident. Desperate, her parents hired a medium-mage to get in contact with the deceased. Twilight never forgot that day: the purple mist, the smell of clove and midnight- and the desperate, scared look on the spirit's face.

Twilight dedicated her studies to spiritual mediumship, and later conducted her own independent studies into the art. After years of research, she concluded one thing: that keeping the dead connected to Sornieth, or dragging them back, even temporarily, was cruel. She now uses her talents to guide spirits to rest, and frees spirits that have been trapped by other magic users. In addition, Twilight provides grief counseling to the living.

Twilight is a fierce critic of for-profit mediums who trap spirits and use them for 'spirit shows'. She also despises necromancy- which puts her at odds with one of the Coven
members...
