Vergil

The Clan's unofficial researcher, Vergil has a great love for learning and will often spend days pouring over any interesting books or items that he can find, which more often than not come directly from Zeran's collection. In fact, his inquisitive streak sees him accidentally getting into some trouble, which he finds that Zeran often pulls him out of.

Vergil met Zeran after coming across a pair of Dragons planning to steal from Zeran's collection, hearing of what the collection contained, Zeran decided that he wanted to see it for himself.
Eventually, after a few days, Vergil found the collection and began reading from a nearby Tome. The Dragon remained there until the owner of the collection returned.

He didn't notice Zeran immediately, not until the latter demanded to know who he was. However He was so absorbed in the Aged Tome, he had to finish the page first.

Since this meeting, Vergil accompanies Zeran just about everywhere he goes eager to see what interesting things may be found and likes to consider Zeran a very important friend.

In his spare time, Vergil finds himself in sprawling conversations with Athelas and retrieving his books from Madena that she had 'borrowed' weeks ago. He also occasionally winds up in lengthy, confusing debates with Zamji.
