Zeran

Before joining the clan, Zeran wandered from land to land, amassing quite an extensive collection of artifacts and shining trinkets. This attracted the attention of many a dragon who sought to steal his collection for themselves.
One dragon, however, was more interested in studying and recording the information of the items in the collection than simply taking them for his own. This dragon, after a long period of silence, introduced himself as Vergil.

It has been many months since this initial meeting and Vergil has yet to leave Zeran's collection alone, rarely ever seen without a book in tow. Loud-Mouthed and not usually one to remain still for long periods of time, Zeran often becomes restless and will often complain about Vergil's inability to put a book down.

Although this is just thinly veiled concern for a dragon he has become slightly attached to, not that he'd admit it. Zeran also finds himself repeatedly pointing out to Zamji that that means nothing and that the pearlcatcher shouldn't be poking around where he doesn't belong.

Zeran often goes hunting for the clan's large food stores with his familiar, more often than not bringing some food to Vergil to make sure the dragon eats.

The Imperial constantly avoids Zamji, suspicious about the Pearlcatcher's intentions and reputation as a matchmaker, however as Vergil gets along with him, Zeran finds him that much harder to avoid than he would like, preferring to keep the pearlcatcher at a safe distance.
