A Cyborg with A Cause of the Mechanics Clan Subdivision

Karale was wandering, looking for a Clan to join as well as adding to his book about dragonkind's history. He'd seen quite a bit of Sornieth and met many interesting dragons. Once he got into the Shifting Expanse, his luck changed for the worst. He was brutally attacked by Shade possessed wildlife and didn't expect for anyone to find him; let alone get to him in time.

However, there was a hunting and gathering party of the Clan that found him; in fact it was a party led by Isolt that found him; her being the healer for the party. She was able to heal what she could with her magic, but the attack from the Shade possessed animals was too severe in certain areas of Karale's body. She was able to temporarily put him into stasis to stop any further injuries and blood loss.

Once back to the Clan, the Mechanics Subdivision immediately set to helping Karale out. Of course, Spira and some of the other healers were available to help out with their magic. Kastra, Elsie, Pavlina, Spica and others set out to see if they couldn't convert the leg jets into also being prosthetic legs. Mikos tried some of his painkillers to see if that couldn't help, as the healers needed some time to recharge their magic.

They successful made prosthetic legs and attached them. Once Karale was awake, they asked if there was anything further that he may want. He asked for a partial face mask due to the injuries on the right side of his face. The other injuries (sans the leg issue) weren't too bad, but did scar. He also asked if they couldn't do something for his eye, since he was blinded on that side. Kastra ordered his best and brightest to do so, to which they were successful after some failed attempts. That was installed.

Once that was done, he spent time recovering from surgery. Hex came by to talk with him and make sure that he was doing alright mentally as well. He's wary of going out by himself, so he makes sure that if he goes out, someone from the Clan will go with him. He also revealed at that time that he was protecting a water egg that he found in an abandoned nest. The other eggs were in pieces. He also revealed that his intent was to now stay with the Clan that saved both him as well as the egg.

He sees himself as the older brother of the dragon in that egg. While waiting for it to hatch, he started to work under Kastra in order to better help the Clan. Particularly on making machines that could protect the Clan. He came up with laser weaponry and other useful weapons. To better control said weapons, he installed some machinery inside him that connected to his brain. Blue lines now show on his skin and fade in and out.

Anything needed in regards to those weapons, he can send a thought to them and it will be done. He's been a most welcome addition to the Clan; oh and he still writes in his book about dragonkind's history. However, it changed into his own personal history.

With Yakone hatching, Karale has taken him under his wing. They are quite close and are oftentimes seen playing chess with each other when not doing their tasks.
