FODDER POLICY & FAQ
Q: Can I buy a dragon?
A: Probably! Any dragon in a tab that links to this info post is fodder. I will sell my fodder as long as it isn't already trained. You're welcome to ask about dragons in other tabs too - the specific tab description will give you a better idea of whether I'm likely to sell it. The only ones strictly off-limits are in my "residents" tab; these are special to me and will never be for sale.
To buy a dragon, message me with a link to it and an offer of 20kt.
Q: Can you rename a dragon of mine that you bought as fodder?
A: Sure! Send me a scroll of renaming as soon as you can, and mention what you want its name changed to. As long as you do this before the dragon is being trained for exalting, I should be able to help. I will always name dragons that I'm exalting (as unnamed dragons can't join a coli team), but I might not name hatchlings if I'm reselling them later as adults.
Q: Can you do something else with the dragon you bought, instead of exalting?
A: Please don't try to dictate my playstyle, or guilt me about buying/selling fodder and exalting. Any messages asking me not to exalt a dragon will be ignored or blocked. (FR's policy on harassment, re: dragon ownership, can be viewed here.)
Q: But I really don't want to see that dragon exalted - what can I do?
A: You're welcome to buy back a dragon by contacting me about a purchase, as detailed above. Remember, the best way to have your dragon not be exalted is not to sell it at all! If you do sell, keep in mind that anything sold for less than about 20kt/g is likely to be considered fodder. During certain dominance battles, most dragons within that low price range will probably go to serve the deities.
Q: What about "thanks for buying" messages?
A: I don't care if you thank me for buying a dragon, so long as you aren't doing so with the intent of pressuring me into keeping it. However, I probably won't reply to these messages.
In general, please remember to be kind! As one of the largest fodder lairs on the site, I'll sometimes buy and raise over 600 hatchlings in a week. I receive multiple random messages (usually around 2-5) about sales every time I get a new batch of dragons. While I think it's funny that people always somehow find their way to my inbox, and I'm generally happy to help... I am also not obligated to do business with people who are demanding or rude. This is a game about pixel dragons - be good to each other!
