as you step towards the airy, spacious lair entrance, you are greeted by a swarm of hatchlings. there are perhaps a hundred of them, and they tumble all around your feet, each trying to get a good look at you. fortunately, you're soon rescued by a harried-looking wildclaw, who barks at the brave few who were climbing onto your back, then gives you an apologetic smile as the hatchlings disperse.
"sorry about that! we hardly ever get visitors out here, and the hatchlings are a little excited. since we're a foster home for orphans, there's... rather a lot of them. anyway, do come in, you're probably tired from the journey. i'll fetch you some blankets and a drink. do you prefer tea or hot chocolate?"
