Biography

Plaguebringer
The General

The Plagues- Prince of Egypt

I send a pestilence and plague
Into your house, into your bed
Into your streams, into your streets
Into your drink, into your bread
Upon your cattle, on your sheep
Upon your oxen in your field
Into your dreams, into your sleep
Until you break, until you yield
I send the swarm, I send the horde
~
She was born to be a leader. Cold blooded and fierce, Plaguebringer had never shown any mercy when it came to matters of war. She was always firm believer of the survival of the fittest, survival of the best, no matter the cost. She wears the pelt of the last thing that injured her. A black mangy wolf that slaughtered her siblings, she rose and killed it as she was able. Barely able to survive after it's attack she was taken in by a gaggle of Mirrors who saw potential in her blood covered coat.

It's been a long time since she was that bright eyed and scared hatchling. She let the mirrors teach her their savage attacks, blending in with them easily as they raided what they could across the plaguelands. With them she learned how survival is the worlds best teacher, and how easiy it is to slip and make mistakes, so she promised to never make any more mistakes.

She worked alongside Trinket for many, many years. Together, they were unstoppable in the rot army, with Plaguebringer's quick wit and Trinket's brute force. She was known to be merciless. It didn't matter how many snivelling, grovelling dragons begged at her feet, she wasn't one to show sympathy. She even learned to despise the same mirror who had sheltered her when she was weak. Weakness was for fools who knew nothing about thriving in the heart of the plaguelands.

She learned to adorn the bones of her conquests, as many dragons in the plaguelands have adapted to do. Her mantle tattered and shredded, but her blade as sharp as she is, she continued to lead even after Trinket vanished into oblivion. But as time passed, she grew restless. Unable to comprehend why he left such a high respecting position. It began to eat away at her, as if something was missing that he knew about. Frustrated, she soon began the search to find him, and hopefully drag him back to the ranks in which they both belonged.

What she found completely astonished her. She lashed out at Trinket, as many before her had done. Suprisingly, Trinket began to laugh, his own bones rattling as he shambled deeper into the clan, Plaguebringer racing to keep on his heels. He shook out his old scales. 'My Dear Friend, it takes more than trophies to be happy. It took me leaving the ranks to realize that. Now look around, take a break.' With that he returned to his bed, laying down among the blankets.

It left her speechless, and furious. Again she lashed out at him, and in a fury stormed out and away from the ridiculous old dragon. She had set forward to returning to her roost and commanding without him.

It wasn't until something in the brush disturbed her thoughts. something that reeked of old plague magic and rotting carcass moved in the grass, almost afraid of Plaguebringer.

She stopped in her haste, sniffing around, trying to locate the scent. It was something familiar of the Wyrmwound, but also of the distant icelands. She investigated, watching as the huge but withering mass seemed to shrink away from her. It took multiple demands before the loathesome creature decided to show it's face.

She stared at the poor imperial, shocked that Ice magic was prominent in the plague ridden corpse. It...-he- stared at her for a long moment, seeming to struggle under the weight of his own injuries. In this moment, something inside Plaguebringer changed. She helped wrap his obviously aching wounds, slowly guiding him back to the safety of the clan as a sandstorm brewed. She noticed how his mouth had been cruelly bound shut. Her feathers ruffled in annoyance, in disbelief. She demanded to know what happened to him, foolishly getting herself even more involved in the clan that she had never intention of staying at.

Trinket explained his origins to her, explained how he had lumbered into the territory, how he cowers in fear of Kizerin. She was horrified, and enraged.

She named him Pestilence, and is often seen dressing his never healing wounds. She cares for him as best she can, to ease his pain, while keeping a fitful watch over the clan territory. It wasn't long until she was nestled among them, taking on new students to train in the art of plague magic. She doesn't speak of how she never intended to stay. In fact, on most days she acts as if she was always meant to belong to this clan.

Review from Roses/ A surprise from Wish Rising!
Lets start with what is possibly the most plague-esque dragon I have ever seen with my own two eyes, shall we? Plaguebringer is absolutely gorgeous. I love her colors, and I especially love her apparel. You did an amazing job dressing this dragon to look as menacing as physically possible, and it’s fantastic. It takes a relatively simple color scheme to new levels. I hardly even know where to start, because there is just so much you did right. Like, everything. I especially love the use of skeletal chimes on her. Her skin, which we unfortunately see very little of underneath the apparel, is absolutely gorgeous as well, and super well suited.
I love her bio, the format is nice and clean and everything is very clear. I’m really charmed by the use of Prince of Egypt lyrics in the description, too. Then onto the bio itself! It’s absolutely fantastic. I love the writing style, which is very concise, and the story is really interesting and unique. She’s so cruel and it’s such an interesting take on her character, rather than having her grow to be someone afraid or empathetic. And I like getting to see that side of her eventually, too, in her taking care of Pestilence. I’m very charmed, all in all, and I really feel like I’ve seen her grow after reading her lore.

Review from eificopper

First up and right ijn the center is Plaguebringer #14890154 All that red, gotta love how Crimson crackle looks. The apparel is awesome, her bone chimes go along so well with that crackle like blood and bones, the wolf cape and wooly tail is another amazing combo that makes it look as if the fur goes all over the body and I simply adore how the wolf capes look in general. The spikes sticking out from the tail guar also catch my attention, they go very well with the wildclaw’s natural talon claw. Her lore is simply amazing, all the hardships she went through and how savage and strong she became, keeping little trophies of her kills and following plague’s strongest rule: survival of the fittest.

I shouldn’t like her in all honesty. I don’t usually like Plague dragons or Plague themed dragons but dang it all to heck this girl is freaking gorgeous. And Crackle! Crackle is awesome. Crimson Crackle over Blood IriShim is really awesome. And your gene plans for are great too! She’s going to be gorgeous~ And her lore, ooh, her lore! Agh, all of your lore is such a delight to read.
