Fairydust

Fairydust was one of the first to be hatched in the clan, only preceded by Stormfall. As such, he is an older member that's highly regarded and respected by others, and looked to for knowledge and guidance. He is much like his father in personality, but has always had the kindness and softness of his mother. In fact, his birth is what brought his parents closer. They weren't so sure that they were well-suited mates until they hatched Fairydust, who they both completely adored raising together. And the experience of it brought them closer--now they're inseparable.

For a while, Fairydust considered himself a 'Scholar', and for all intents and purposes that was his role in the clan. But as he aged, he realized his yearning for knowledge had felt quenched and rather he much preferred to write down the information he'd learned so others could find it more easily. So after a while, he changed his role to be the clan's official Archivist, often working alongside Pebblewater (a Water Pearlcatcher), the clan's Scribe.

Though at first he had a rocky relationship with Maleficent, who was born in a clutch after him, later in life they both settled their differences and fortified their sibling bond. He used to judge and criticize her for being so mischievous and rebellious, because he believed her behavior was causing harm to his parents. But as time went on, and she found who she really was, he realized that there was nothing wrong with her after all--she was just different from him, and from their parents.

Fairydust's first mate was a then Arcane Wildclaw called Mooncatcher. They had one nest together, but then she decided to leave for another clan. But even that was ages ago. Afterwards, he laid one nest with Snapdragon (a Fire Wildclaw) who is another older member of the clan. She is still among the clan but they have never considered each other mates. He'd also had a long friendship with Starlight, a formerly Earth Ridgeback who's now a Spiral. Though they were never mates, they might've been considered so by strangers, due to their closeness and similarities. However, ever since her transformation, they've admittedly strayed, but he still regards her as kin.

It was many years later that he finally took his true mate--Hecate, an Arcane Skydancer. Though they'd never met, he felt like she was already family. They were just so alike--in personality, thought, interests, even looks. Being with her was so natural, and just felt right. She'd originally befriended his younger sister, Maleficent, but he couldn't be more grateful to his sibling for introducing them. Her entrance into his life has added much happiness and comfort, more than he ever could have imagined. His parents love her too!

His Sakura Owl has been his familiar since he hatched. He couldn't imagine any other by his side. He trusts him like a childhood friend, and often turns to him for sagely advice.
