side_story_b.png Astoire originally hails from a clan of nomads in the Shattered Plains. He grew up surrounded by trade, commerce and constant motion. His family never stayed in one place for too long but their ties to the Earthshaker's domain ran deep. When Story was old enough to go on trade 'walks' without supervision, he began venturing out on his own further and further across the Shattered Plain.

It was on one of these journeys that he encountered the clan of CairnBato, a group that had newly settled into Cairnstone Rest and claimed a massive set of ruins for their home. Their Chief, Rohke, saw the potential in Story and offered him a position within his clan as a 'Scavenger' and 'Finder'.... basically doing exactly what he as doing when they met. Story agreed and was paired up with one of Rohke's other finders, a Skydancer named Demitri. Later, after an alliance with the Sapere Aude clan, the team was rounded out with a third Scavenger named Sychosis. The trio now travels the realm seeking unique items, recruiting dragons or strong-arming rogues who run their mouths.

When Story isn't working, he's hanging out with his best friend and flirting with anyone who catches his eye. His familiar, a Cragbacked Bouldursa named 'Breaker', is more like a pitbull than a bear and is always at his side since he received him as a 'cub' from Demitri.
