BIO

Arema was too young to understand what was happening between Itura and Firewyrm. He hatched from an abandoned egg the same day as two of Imeria's children. The three grew up as siblings in peaceful childhood innocence. It ended all too soon when Itura took over the clan, and killed his two fae sisters, as they were a threat to her rule. Horrified and confused as to why he had been spared, Arema went to Neried, who told him he was not, in fact, related to them. Full of grief, Arema acts as a guard, and wishes he could go back to his carefree childhood.

The only close friend Arema has now is Kuningas, if the dedicated pearlcatcher can even be called a friend to anyone. The two are close due mostly in part of their jobs, and their friendship is more professional than anything else. His withdrawn and sullen nature prevents anything more, and Kuningas is too polite to push the mirror, who is technically his superior. Still considered part of the line of I via adoption, Arema barely associates with his family. He dedicates himself to his job and keeps his relationship with Incindia purely professional, even if she addresses him as her uncle.

The only time Arema ever removes his armor, physically and emotionally, is during a secret daily ritual of his. Arema's rooms are on the east side of the lair, and he has a private ledge where he watches the sunrise each morning. Alone, he soaks up the dawn, before re-donning his armor and beginning his daily duities.
