irit's tongue is as sharp as her claws. no dragon is spared from her scrutiny and criticism, nor will any dragon hear any sort of sugarcoating out of her. she doesn't believe in pleasantries; she finds them ingenuine, and she doesn't believe in sensitivity, either. while many don't enjoy her company, she is reliable and honest to the end and will only speak the truth.

a light dragon through and through, the pursuit of knowledge is one close to her heart. she is a steadfast scholar who's interested in learning about anything and everything. her mental prowess only heightens her ego, and she can be quite conceited. she's also incredibly arrogant and will never admit to being wrong (even when she finds out that she is). in her free time, she likes to read texts on her favorite subject: anthropology.

despite her general hostility and unapproachable front, she is a dedicated and doting mother. her forthright nature manifests in her insults as much as her compliments and displays of genuine affection. while she may be too blunt for her children's sake, she is at least honest with them. she actively raises her own hatchlings and enthusiastically volunteers to babysit the other mothers' hatchlings as well. irit is the de facto hatchling sitter and caretaker, keeping a watchful eye over all of the clan's children. and also yelling at them to take their bath and eat ALL of their rations, damn it.
