6534.png 6613.png 762.png the horeshi have situated themselves in a vibrant grove of red maple, on the outskirts of the mirrorlight promenade. the care of these grand trees is solely undertaken by simcha. she's the clan's forester. her duties include harvesting timber, planting new seedlings, removing decaying stumps and trees, and other preservative tasks. she is quiet and gruff, one who labors without complaint and makes time only for her work. she takes to it with the utmost solemnity. simcha respects the earth and all its bounties; suchly, her trees (yes, trees) receive her reverence as much as they do her protection. the grove flourishes, tall, sturdy, and bursting with life, all thanks to her dedication.

her only other great 'passion' is her intense musophobia. nothing makes her more uneasy than the thought of rodents scampering about her feet, spreading their diseases and rummaging through her finely-tuned ecosystem. adiyn gifted her a boa soon after she joined the clan, insisting that its presence would keep away the pests and soothe her mind. he was right--and now simcha keeps the snake with her at all times. she talks to it when she assumes no one is around to hear or see her. but they do...and even dagny snorts when she hears simcha warning "mr. snake" about how specific beetles and caterpillars could endanger her trees if left to run amok.
