As the Wild Oats township grew, Shavuot had the foresight to seek out dragons in order to bolster the number of residents. It was a difficult task to find dragons who wished to settle in a small farming community rather than a lavished, established lair, so Shavu had to resort to bartering in hatchling contracts. The downside was that the fledglings would need to be taught how to farm, and there was also no guarantee that they would like the idea of remaining in the settlement once they were old enough to set out on their own. But with wise council from Crane, Shavuot took a unique approach to the matter. Going to the various Auction Houses in the province in person, she was able to meet young dragons face to face. One such child was a small Spiral that had been given the name "Miesh" by the other hatchlings in her group. Miesh was Nature born, a good sign indeed, and revealed that she hailed from Clan Ten-Trees. Shavuot approached the little one, expecting a shy little thing that would take some coaxing. As it turned out though, Miesh was a boisterous dragonelle with insurmountable energy and a passion for, well, just about everything. Upon being offered a home in the Zephyr Steppes, Miesh displayed only the slightest bit of apprehension before accepting. In her own words, she was reluctant to leave the other hatchlings who didn't have homes yet. But when she and Shavuot finally reached the Wild Oats territory, all regrets retreated on the Windsinger's warm breeze.

Miesh learned to farm from Oats himself along with a young Mirror called Kova, and the two found their niches within the clan. Thanks to her heritage, Miesh had a natural aptitude for encouraging growth. The Spiral stated that she would eagerly tend her own diverse crop, but supply and demand called for rice. Thus, Miesh began to help Aiyal manage, and even expand her fields. This allowed the Guardian to focus more on her rice crop as well. Miesh tends her crop diligently and, more often than not, yields a bountiful harvest. In times of drought or torrential rains, Miesh will work tirelessly to maintain the balance or water within the rice paddies, hauling in buckets of water when the levels are low, or dredging out trenches to more evenly disperse copious amounts of water. During the Great Blight that the settlement suffered during their second year of establishment, Miesh's rice crop suffered greatly. The mites devoured the soft rice shoots leaving nothing but rotting stalks. Despite such a devastating hardship, Miesh was out tending her field every day gathering seeds that were not contaminated by the Blight and rushing them to safety before infection could spread. It was with these seeds that she was able to germinate new crops the next planting season. Miesh maintains a personal garden of watermelons which she will often share with the other townsfolk in the form of tarts and preserves. Pofka eagerly accepts watermelon bits and rind which she boils down in order to make hard candies.

Most citizens of the town like Miesh and are appreciative of her ongoing optimism which carries on even in hard times. The Spiral does tend to fawn and romanticize various situations, which gives the impression to newcomers that she is childish and wishful. But despite her free-thinking and rampant imagination, Miesh is forthcoming and intelligent, always offering a helping hand or an ear to listen. After a long and somewhat frustrating waiting game, Miesh was given the surprise of her life when Kova, the long-time object of her secret affection, began to openly display courtship behavior towards her. Until that point, Miesh had been under the impression that her adoration of the Mirror was her best kept secret. However, Kova would later laugh with her at how obvious she actually was. Spirals as exuberant as Miesh are not the best keepers of secrets. Eventually, the two held a public mateship ceremony and a short time later, Miesh hatched her first clutch. They were born close to harvest, though despite the joys of newborns, the town was in poor spirits due to a meager crop yield. In the following winter months, Miesh remained behind in the town with Crane, Shavuot, Hideau and later, Two Ages. It was difficult to care for her children during the time of hardship, but when Ages joined the community, he became a grandfather figure to the young ones and helped keep them occupied while the other citizens kept the town in order. Sadly, time and fate saw fit to part Kova and Miesh's first hatched from the village. A part of Miesh was lost when her son was taken from them, and her intrinsic joy further depleted when daughter left the clan.
