Biography

          “There is light in everyone; it lights the way in even the harshest of circumstances. Whether your light is dim or whether it is shining matters not. It is your soul and your essence and all who bear a light are welcome here.” 
Leader of the Ahnwinian Clan and humbly referred to as the Exalt, Darrow was not born in Sornieth. He hails from the stars, his life and energy formed from the Ahnwinian Star, nestled in a nebula shaped like a bird's wings. He is all powerful, noble, and most of all; he is caring. He is a fierce fighter when it counts, ready to do just about anything that needs to be done to keep his clan and family safe. And although he is gentle, he is also stern, knowing well that tenderness is not the only thing that keeps a clan together.

Darrow, the son of a wealthy family, was once assigned a mentor back home on Ahnwin to teach him about his planet's politics. His mother, a prominent figure in Ahnwinian society, expected him to follow in her footsteps and gather a reputation for himself as she had. He learned many things under his mentor's guide, but he was unhappy with it all. Politics with foreign planets were always straining and Ahnwin was always in a state of unrest, making war favorable while its own issues were swept under the rug. Issues that bothered Darrow the most were how intolerant most were, especially towards his half-brother Dairven. He saw the hatred daily, watched how it often broke his brother's will. So he departed, leaving Ahnwin behind with his beloved brother to find another place to settle and grow. And the planet he came to held a fascinating world called Sornieth. He and Dairven fell from the stars in a flash of light and landed in the heart of the Sunbeam Ruins, beings of being of pure energy that no doubt terrified the dragons that inhabited the lands. They crawled from their crater, tired and sore but also amazed at the new world they found themselves in. As an Ahnwinian, Darrow naturally had the ability to alter his form. Though, it took him awhile to learn the art of form shifting. For weeks he terrified dragons of all clans with either his strange shape and lack of wings and snout or often as an odd concoction of the species he had surveyed until he could get it right. The nimble form of a skydancer became the one he mastered the easiest and since has used no other. Dairven chose the same form merely to blend in and appear natural alongside his brother. Darrow and his sibling became quite nomadic once they blended into dragon kind, traveling wherever wings could take them. Years after the fall to Sornieth, with many talents learned, Darrow came to a land of fire where volcanoes ran wild and the lava filled the land like a life force. It was there he met another foreigner like himself. Veharin, hailing from Solaria, where the Solar-Kin made their home. Darrow believed it to be fate and he and Veharin became quite close until it was only natural that they stay together as mates. They left the lands of fire to travel through Sornieth, the both of them eager to explore and along the way, their clan was born. Clan Ahnwin, of the Light-beings.
