Original leader of a broken clan she gave to Darrow and his mate Veharin. She was cast away by her old clan to serve the Flamecaller, blamed for the hardships and famine and after she found residence with her clan's deity, she realized the blame wasn't unwarranted. She was young, stubborn, and prideful and she fought constantly with her mate Eclypse.

But she learned much as she aided the Flamecaller, learning compassion and patience. though she still did not believe herself worthy, she longed to return to her old home.

So she did. She pleaded with the Flamecaller to send her home, that she was not one to spend her days doing the work of deities and that she had something calling her back to her old clan.

Solarflare's wish was granted and she returned to her clan, now flourishing and brilliant under Darrow's caring touch. She is no longer clan leader, instead she has become Darrow's second-in-command, aiding him in leading their spacious clan and keeping the peace.
