Kiara was originally a wanderer in the Scarred Wasteland, having run away from home upon learning that she was going to be sold for profit to a clan she did not know. She managed to just barely survive on her own as a hatchling, and eventually traveled the world as a lone dragon. Though she traveled for many months, she didn't get very far in actual distance, finding her way into the Tangled Wood. It was there that she met Erubetie on one of her many border patrols, however she wasn't as hostile as one might think to the lost Skydancer. Kiara is actually one of the few dragons to touch Erubetie's heart even though they are from different flights and species of dragon. Nonetheless, after being taken back to Clan Hellgondo, she found an instant connection with the clan and their leader, Alipheese, which is odd considering they were a clan based off breeding for profit. It was through Alipheese and watching the clan function that she was able to recognize that not every hatchling was as afraid as she had been, in fact some were very eager to join clans which would spend so much treasure on them. Kiara's views were swayed so much that she even offered to find a breeding partner for herself considering she had rare genes to offer. She is rather found of him and enjoys his company because of this, the two close companions. It does trouble her to head back to her homeland whenever they are off their cooldown, but she still manages to pull through because of her love to support her clan. However, during their first clutch Kiara still felt slightly guilty for sending them away, so she kept her first daughter, and raised her fondly from day one. Her true mates won her heart easily, Alipheese through her overall nature, and Granberia through her ambitious nature and strength, as the Skydancer is a sucker for powerful dragons who can easily crush their opponents. She was surprised that shortly after her arrival she was offered her current position, but didn't hesitate to take up the offer, finding her true home within Clan Hellgondo, high up in position next to her loved ones.
