Born into a small Light Clan on the edge of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, Thyatira grew up with the promise of future greatness whispered in her ears. Her family tree dates back to some of the original Pearlcatchers created by the Lightweaver, and as such she has always considered herself a cut above the rest of dragons because of it. She spent much of her childhood studying lore surrounding the Lightweaver, and has always felt she is able to understand Her will better because of her ancient connection. Even her coloration is proof of her untarnished bloodlines, as she shares colors with the diety.

Thytira left her clan as soon as she was old enough to strike out on her own. In her travels of the Light Domain, she soon discovered not everyone appreciated her superiority. She was robbed several times traveling on her own, and was quickly disillusioned with the world. Her life until then had been sheltered, and her travels gave her the experience she had been lacking. She couldn't help feel she was destined for something greater however, and when she heard the rumors of an upstart Clan who had taken up residence in the Temple, she struck out immediately.

She arranged a meeting with Taxon upon her arrival and presented her an offer. She was smart enough to know that if Abberate was going to be successful in its mission, it needed to build its reputation as a place of spiritual significance. Who better to oversee this then Thytira herself? She was High Priestess of the Temple until Karna was discovered, and during the battles she found alongside the Vaunts. She was one of the few surviving Vaunts to be allowed back into the Clan after the battle was over. She no longer enjoys the cult following she once had, but was appointed Priestess once more, after promising to change her corrupt ways.
