Gwalchmai
Gwalchmai is a dragon who fancies himself to be a knight in shining armour. He is serious, noble, polite, chivalrous, and fearless. The two most important things in his life are protecting his clan and proving himself worthy of his lady and mate, mighty Clan Matriarch Brygid. While she is the clan's most formidable fighter and veteran, Gwalchmai is a tried and true warrior in his own right, being one of the few warriors of the clan who dares to enter the Golem Workshop and manages to come back with his scales still in one piece.
Before Gwalchmai met Brygid, he was a lonely Wind dragon on a self-imposed quest of finding his purpose in life and a cause worth fighting for. Brygid and her clan gave him both, as well as a family to belong to and a home.
Gwalchmai always manages to appear both proud and humble and his speech is formal and sounds a bit antiquated to most ears. Most dragons agree that he is too serious for his own good. He is absolutely loyal and always willing to do anything for his family, friends, and clan.
Gwalchmai has participated as one of Nature's champions in the Great Flameforge Joust. He proudly wore Leafy Gladeboughs (twigs taken directly from the branches of the mighty Behemoth surrounding our lair) as a token of his lady. :) His defeat was one of the darkest hours in his life, but by now he has managed to learn that there can be honor in losing gracefully, too.

Gwalchmai feels a strong kinship to Galaeron, the Shadow Mage, and also to Jeep, who are usually his companions when he ventures into the Golem Workshop. He is also friends with Rynzin. In addition to being Brygid's mate, Gwalchmai is also one of her trusted advisors and closest friends.
