The Lost

Rain, once a calm, affable Imperial, who took delight in kite-crafting, is now a mad, bitter creature who even his clan is wary of. The reason for his spiraling descent into madness is uncertain; all they know is that he had lost someone, or something that was his life.

It hurt. He was hurt. He was hurt. – a whirlwind of emotions, uncontrollably writhing, threatening to break free.
What had happened? He was not sure. But… someone was gone. He didn't know who.
Someone was gone! –
… All there is left is an hollow, desolate space. Gone. Gone.
 Gone.
He never wanted this!
The rain, once quiet in the steady patter of a drizzle, now thunders like the torrent of a violent storm -- threatening to tear itself apart.
