Reckon was part of Stahli and Eucleides' very first clutch, along with her siblings Ysolt, Sedai, and Kelsier. She's been around nearly as long as the clan, and that in itself has gained her respect. Reckon is the closest to Stahli out of her siblings, acting as a sort of right-hand-man, even though her mother insists that she can run the clan by herself. Reckon takes her self-appointed role very seriously; She is well aware that the clan could end up under her rule one day, and she does all that she can to prepare herself for this. As well as being a pious worshipper of the Plaguebringer, she believes everything her mother says and enforces it with a stringent passion, although her blunt and assertive attitude can lead to her being even more aggressive than the clan leader herself... More than once, Stahli has had to stop Reckon from literally tearing out the throats of fellow clan members who've stepped slightly out of line.

Her typical Plague behavior isn't all that makes her stand out. In order to appear more imposing, Reckon only wears gold apparel because, in her mind, it makes her look more like royalty and earns her the respect she needs. This has earned her the nickname "The Golden Heir". Some dragons use this title in a mocking way, but Reckon has come to like it and enjoys when other address her as such.
"Everything my mother says is law within this clan. I'm just here to enforce that."
