Ahnar is a prodigy of an ice mage. His natural abilities often surpass those of dragons who have been training their entire lives to manipulate this complicated element. He carries a constant chill with him and leaves a path of frost in his wake (though hard to see in the clan's own home), and the feats he can accomplish are more than astounding. His attempts to delve deeply into the secrets of magic have marked him: his wings have crystallized, becoming bright and clear and frozen as the ice around him. He can move them with great effort, yet it is uncommon to see him even try, and he has embraced his title as The Wingless without much care. Ahnar does not come across - on the first glance - as any of the above, however. He flits to and fro through the entire lair and constantly immerses himself in every aspect of his clanmates' lives. There are no secrets from Ahnar (and even if you manage to keep them from him, Rau will find out). He is not entirely sociable, and often strikes others as odd, as if there is something "off" about him, but the enthusiasm with which he throws himself into social situations is hard to match. He tends to "other" himself early on, however, and this only furthers his determination to become ingrained and invested in others lives. He can understand the darkest intricacies of his ice magic, but he cannot fathom why dragons do what they do, why they lie and laugh and love. These are the things he must research.
