Biography

Lumen Wiring Steelhound Core Volt Wiring
Member of the Copper Order
A hatchling without sense of purpose - perhaps it is a strange sight, perhaps not. But a young dragon such as Mechonis could not be left all alone, not even in the relative safety the Sunbeam Ruins offered. At least, those were the words uttered by whoever had brought him here.

The young Nocturne hadn’t learned to speak, nor did he know much about the world. He was a strange soul, a hatchling who’d lost his way without anything to hold on to. As it turned out, being entirely at the mercy of kind passerbys or relying on the luck of finding a fresh, untouched kill made in excess didn’t do much to prepare one for adulthood, and it was Mechonis who found that out.

Even though the dragons of the Clan did what they could to care for him, it never took away the veil of weakness that weighed him down. He was brittle, he wasn’t what a dragon should be like, but of course he didn’t know that.

The other dragons, of course, gently nudged him towards the studious Orders - perhaps he’d make a fine scholar once grown up. As it was, however, he had one particular goal in mind: one that would hopefully change him for the better.

Those who don’t regard the Golden Order as an official one claim that the Copper Order is the smallest. Indeed, very few dragons possess those particular talents and wish to join the ranks of the inventors and mechanics - but if Mechonis did not have those skills, surely he could learn them.

They immediately accepted the young dragon. It was no surprise; many of them too lacked a family to hold on to, or at least trust in, and therefore were all the more friendly to one another. Besides, there could be no harm in teaching the Nocturne, could there?

Not to them, no. Mechonis may be a quiet, lonely yet kind individual, but newcomers often find themselves asking how many battles he must’ve survived to become so clad in steel, a dragon with more artificial than organic limbs - and Mechonis smiles, a guinea pig to his own whims, a dragon who has finally gotten stronger.
