With quick and wise mind Clair offers advises and opinions of various decisions made among the lair and its occupants. Also called the another second-in-command, who takes the lead after the commander and the vicereine.

LOYAL FRIEND

Though their opinions have and will differ sometimes violently, both Claira and Varjoemo have utter and utmost respect for each other.

What Claira loses in physical power, she wins in wit and sharp words. The skydancer judges with such brutality that even Varjoemo sometimes loses the competition of who’s the most dangerous and meanest dragon in the lair.

Clairalience is just as intelligent and cold as she gives away; there’s no room for error in her mind, when she organizes and makes the lair run smoothly and effectively. Her harsh words never seem to soften up and if there’s someone who everyone – and I mean everyone - is afraid of, it’s Clairalience.

Stern and calculating, Claira is all work and no fun-type of dragoness who prefers seriousness above humor. If there’s humor to be shared, it’s almost dark and sarcastic; even joking seems to cut through everything and everyone it touches. Claira doesn’t seem to care if she has any friends and actually enjoys solitude and her own company the most; the lair and Varjoemo benefit her enough to make her give serious effort in return.

As an advisor, Claira tends to think the benefit of a whole clan and excluding the needs of the individuals. She doesn’t want the clan to lose members, of course, but they are still material in her eyes – and almost everyone can be replaced and sacrificed if the need comes. The need of the clan comes always first.

While she seems totally untouched by feelings and companionship, she does care of those who have proven their worth. She also appreciates well-thought gifts and gives them in return quite generously; maybe because she thinks it’s the only way she can properly show affection.

Claira also considers borrowing – or stealing, like others would call it – to be totally acceptable if the need of the clan demands it. This might be due to her ridgeback blood that she inherits from her other mother.

History

Clairalience was born to a skydancer-ridgeback-family and was raised to be independent dragon from a get-go. She was intelligent from the start and educated herself in various war tactics while finding herself a bigger clan to live with. She had a nice family life with her two mothers, but the curiosity was never to be sated with this kind of life.

She needed more, much more; something to be shaped by her actions. Something to built with her own power, something that would make her name echo through centuries.

This opportunity came when she heard about clan Levinflare that had just been founded.

She was only a hatchling when she arrived to meet Varjoemo, but it was soon clear that she was here for business. The clan improved much faster than it would have without Claira, and she was soon rising to the top ranks when she matured and gained more confidence and age.

Nowadays Claira is still with the clan Levinflare, helping Varjoemo to expand her territory even more than before.
