Notes:
  • In charge of everything architectural in the Clan. Which, considering that they are a military station under frequent raids, is quite a lot. Oh, and also that they inhabit and expand upon ancient ruins, which were made for beings much smaller than most of them.
  • Appears constantly frazzled and confused, but still always has time for a kind word for the dragons around him.
  • In a relationship with Torvindr. Torvindr might not have realised it yet, but Bjartur knows and is all for laughing secretly at his partner until the Skydancer understands that they are ...and also throwing blatant, exasperated hints at him, because really, how can a dragon so smart be so thick?
  • (Don't worry, Torvindr is a most excellent partner despite not consciously knowing it and always looks out for Bjartur's well being and happiness.)
  • Goes everywhere with tons of paper and pens, and tends to leave a trail of the former after himself. He has a theory of "pen saturation": that eventually there will be so many pens everywhere that even if he loses one, he will soon find another. It doesn't appear to be working yet.
  • Best of buds with Vigdis, Anu and Edda, who help him with the architectural upkeep.
  • Really loves his job, and is a very kind and gentle dragon under all the exasperation and done-ness.
  • Neither he nor his mother understand the other one, but they love each other anyway.
  • Is thoroughly exasperated with all the spirals' digging. Especially Eldrun, Knud and Lifa. Oh, and also Hrim, even if he's an Imperial, due to frost damage. Just who do they think needs to repair those walls, huh?
  • Bjartur's name means "bright".
