Rishi, like his parents, is an artist - unlike his parents, however, he finds art in making the perfect blend of medicinal herbs, the perfect combination of flavouring for that night's dinner, the perfect brew of tea to drink on a shady afternoon.

On good rapport with Ekain, who tends to the clan's cultivated plants, and Rosie, his assistant, Rishi spends his mornings doing the collection rounds, and his afternoons taking orders and preserving and preparing the herbs, adding them to the stores he maintains at the bottom of one of the clan trees, where it's cool and dark. He's also learning to experiment with new plants (the Starwood Strand and Windswept Plateau were very unlike the Viridian Labyrinth!) and is now a fairly dab hand and recognising the unique flora of a region.

When not working, he's working on a book of his own blends and remedies, and greatly enjoys spending time with his mate Meade - well, it would be a librarian that attracted the attention of a Light dragon, wouldn't it?
