Born and bred as a war dragon, Tarrasque is too old and canny to be in the field fighting (again), though he has seen his share of skirmishes. Instead, he directs warfare for his clan, when necessary, and is a master strategist, coldly appraising odds and directing both friends and foes to their deaths (where necessary). He is knowledgeable about all forms of war waged, past, present and future, and will often take on a consulting role if the clan is far enough away from his - and if they happen to be fighting someone who may prove problematic later on. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, after all.

His mate is well-known for running scouting forays under his command - though, in practice, she typically does what she wants in the field, and he makes the best of whatever information comes back.
