Delphinium (or just Dell, if you're close to him or want to die) is sassy, spunky, and just plain salty. He does no harm but takes no -ish, and will not hesitate to take you down a peg when you need it. Which is perfect when you hang around dragons like Ash on a daily basis. He's at his happiest around plants, so he likes to spend all of his free time in the gardens. He and Dahlia compete often over who is the better gardener, and these friendly competitions only work to improve the gardens, so Starshine definitely appreciates the help.
He seems to be somewhat magically attuned, and likes to use it for mischief. A little knot of roots to trip you, a thorn that pokes a little too hard at your finger when you look at the roses. One shudders to imagine what he'll be able to do when he grows older, but all he wants to do is work on his flower patch.
Delphinium is one of the two Nature Proteges under the teachings of Spica. He is determined to show everyone what he can do, and that he is a force to be reckoned with.
