Laramie is a joker at heart. When he first came to the clan, Pandora and Azurite were ready to send him off to the Arcanist because none of the Council members could figure out where to put him. When they went to find him and send him off, they found him curled up next to Michi, sleeping peacefully in her den. The only reason they keep him around is because Michi loves him.

He came from a clan that resided at the Cloudsong in the Windswept Plateau. Due to the large size of his birth clan, the only way he could stand out was by making jokes, and generally making a fool out of himself. When the clan decided to move to the Beacon of the Radient Eye in the Sunbeam Ruins, Laramie got lost over the Scarred Wasteland. Serezha found him being interrogated by three Plague dragons, all of which took off as soon as they saw her. Serezha took the young, hungry, and scared hatchling to Pandora's clan.

Some clan members wonder if Serezha made a mistake that day; at least until Michi and Laramie had their first clutch. Since then, Laramie has become a welcome asset to the clan. He is the only healer/herbalist that is willing to follow dragons into the Coliseum, and has a better memory sometimes then Michi herself. Since he was abandoned, he now sees Pandora's clan as his family; even if his hatchlings are sent off to the Arcanist more often then not.
