Having killed her entire foster- as well as birthclan in a great explosion of magic gone wrong, Rose was found by the clan in a horrible state of shellshock and loss. Emaciated, dirty and wounded, her beauty was only to come forth later. As it was, Scot, the clan messenger who found her, described her found as 'something which should be dead but isn't". She was quickly presented to the Alphas, who took her in as a refugee and clan member.

Amongst the supporting company of the Bottochelli clan, Rose made an impressing recovery. After a few moons of care and kindness, the beautiful skydancer who had once been, came back to life. A dragon with the looks of a pretty princess, but the wisdom and inner strength of something far more than just a pretty face. Her skills within the art of scavenging for goods gave her a job within the clan, and she soon grew to be a respected member.

She was brought up within the borders of her enemies, posing as a hostage for peace, but in reality the sleeper cell who was to bring her own clan to victory in an ancient feud. Playing such a double agent taught Rose a lot of things, mainly the skill of manipulating the way other see her. An actress of the elite class, some would call her. However, after many years of being caught in different roles, her new life within the Bottochelli's seems to have allowed the real Rose too peek through the curtain.

A grim reminder of her past can be seen resting on her head. Getting her to talk about the crown of bones sitting there is near impossible, but every dragon with mind enough to put two and two together can see that the bones isn't the produce of some random deer. Why she chooses to wear such a burden upon her head, none can understand. Maybe it serves her as a reminder of what has happened, maybe it is an ancient ritual within her former clan, or maybe she made a promise to someone. It is impossible to know.

Asking about her headdress may not be the wisest thing to to, but it is not the most stupid thing one can ask Rose about either. Such an honour would fall to every question relating to Shade, her first and last offspring. Should a dragon be foolish enough to touch the subject, a furious glance and jarring silence is to be expected, only broken when the bonehead in question realises their mistake and backs off. After this, said dragon should watch their back for an unknown amount of time, as tricks prone to inspire even Lady Shadowbinder is to come.
