Eyphah
”darkness, gloomy”

she joined the clan in its early days. reserved and wise beyond her years, she became a valued advisor and treasured friend to dagny from the get go. she serves both of these jobs well. her knowledge is seemingly limitless and covers an inexhaustible range of even the most obscure topics. her main strength, however, is her insight into her fellow dragon. an adept observer, she knows more about her clan mates than they do themselves. her addition to the clan is invaluable. her voice is grating and raspy, but her fellow dragons listen nonetheless.

though her tact and advice are sought after, she can be a bit cagey. she is asocial and aloof and prefers not to speak. she can be quite unpredictable in that some days she will approach a clan mate willing to help, and other days draw into her lair and not speak for hours. she also refuses to give out information that she feels is inappropriate to share. while not socially adept, she knows boundaries. only dagny, her best friend and superior, can consistently depend on her.

her temper is unpredictable. sometimes the smallest remarks will set her into a seething rage. she sometimes physically lashes out at offending dragons, but her personal remarks hurt worse than any physical wound ever could. eyphah knows how to use her knowledge in every possible way, and may do so without remorse.

she is prone to apathy. some mistake it for depression, but she really doesn't feel much emotion; her intellect interferes with that. she does, however, harbor a great deal of love for her children. it's what helps her feel alive. she isn't as emotionally available as a mother should be, but she does her best at guiding her children. she and gomer are especially close.

everyone was surprised when she became mates with the newcomer, adad. while few have seen it--he is even more reserved than herself, and they stick to the shadows when they can--she has demonstrated a tenderness that no one previously thought her capable of. her love for him has really brought him out of a hard time. it disturbs many people to see their cold tactician showering anyone besides her children with genuine kindness, but she lavishes her mate in it.
