"What is the point of living without flight?"
Born into the army of Plague Flight, Deneb was trained in fighting from a very young age. He fought in the battle between the forces of Gladekeeper and Plaguebringer, and afterwards deserted the army. Because of this, he is wanted in the Shifting Expanse, the Scarred Wasteland, Dragonhome, and the Tangled Wood. He fled to the Starfall Isles for a time, settling into a clan there with little difficulty. While there, the leader dubbed him 'Skyguy' because of his flying skills.


Eventually, having drifted around Sornieth with the army for most of his life, Deneb's wandering spirit was roused. He traveled to the Windswept Plain, then on to the Sea of a Thousand Currents. While in the Sea of a Thousand Currents, a mercenary almost killed him. He was healed by the Anaey Clan, and joined the clan while recuperating. He quickly rose to the rank of Head Warrior, and it was due to his leadership that the clan escaped being assimilated by another clan.
