Maendia was born and raised in the Anaey Clan, as with all of her siblings. She was fortunate enough to bond with a rare creature, a Loga, when she became of age. She enjoys the company of the young Seer Zeriph, and used to have a crush on him before she fell for Illusi.
Maendia's two children hatched soon after Maendia and Illusi mated, and one of them, Adolu, is nearly identical to one of Maendia's brothers. Adolu is practically identical to Danell, one of his grandmother's hatchlings who died at birth.

She became a hatchery attendant after growing weary of gathering, having always enjoyed the company and gentle innocence of the younglings.
