Biography

Mire Chestnut Provision Tree Treasure Plant
Member of the Stone Order
Honorary Member of the Glass Order
All magic begins somewhere, be it drawn from the surroundings or from the dragon themselves. Lucina, however, knows better than anyone that great things may be hidden in small places.

She is the Gladekeeper’s perfect daughter, a Mirror who loved her home more than anything else. One whose tread through the woods is so sure, she could have navigated her ever-changing surroundings blindfolded. One whose devotion to her goddess could surely carry her to the ends of the world and back, without faltering.

She didn’t enjoy leaving.

Lucina - the herbalist who can name any plant, any properties one might be interested in, anything. Of course it was her who’d be tasked to leave, of course! She was content at home, but she was also the perfect one for the job. It surprised her, it really did; her clan was a sprawling one, one of the greatest the Labyrinth knew, and for her to stand out, out of everyone there?

It was an honor, yes, but it felt strange. She was tasked to journey southward, over the ocean, to learn of that which grew outside her secluded homeland. Essentially, she’d been asked to leave her home - with no note of when she’d be required to come back. Was she really to feel honored by something like that?

Even so, she had little choice but to do as she was told. It was true; the Sunbeam Ruins was home to all sorts of unfamiliar flora, and Lucina couldn’t wait to find out about all of them, yet a strange feeling lingered, persistently. Even after the Clan, much smaller than what she was used to, offered her somewhere to stay, those doubts remained.

But it was soon clear that this clan had a much greater role for her. Knowing about plants wasn’t much of an achievement back home, but here, it seemed they had great need of someone like her - fine, then. If they insisted, well…

They’d just have replaced her, anyways.
