Tamika is Hopcyn's mate and first followed him from the Windsept Plateau, leaving home for the first time. Though she greatly enjoyed the sights of different lands, she did not have the endurance of her mate and always felt guilty for slowing him down, though he said it did not bother him and he was just glad for her company.

When the pair encountered the Archives, Tamika fell in love with the place. She decided to settle there as a caretaker for the clans hatchlings and offered her healing services when ever they were needed. She is great friends with Hale as the patient and passionate fae is more than willing to repeat the same tales over and over again, despite knowing she will forget them in hours again. When not working, she spends a majority of her time in lair in the fantasy section, enjoying getting lost in stories of great adventure and far off lands, her absolute favorites being those that involved non-dragon protagonists and stories of beast clans.

Her mate visits often, returning with new tales of his journey, and on shorter rambles she will still join him. She made a friend and pet out of a pocket mouse that was nesting in the sciences section of the library, it now nests in her fluffy fur coat.
