Everything Niwha has, she has fought for. From the glittering gems on her hide to the familiar dogging her footsteps, nothing has ever been handed to her for free. More than a match for any silvered words, she is uncompromisingly resolute and honest. While her work acting as councilor and giver of judgement could easily offer her advantages and edges to use against others, the plain colored coatl has never forgotten her days working up from the bottom of the pile. All must stand equal, and there will be equal punishment.

Literally no one can understand how on earth she has a functional relationship with her diametrically opposite mate, who would rather tie himself in knots than give a straight answer to a question.
