Murkwater is the Nest’s potion master, though she would prefer that you refer to her as one of the resident scientists, because why be limited to a single area of study? That said, her single area of study is to raise the dead - or maybe it’s to create life à la Frankenstein’s Monster? Nobody’s really sure about that, and nobody really wants to ask - have you seen her familiars? Better off not knowing.

There are rumors that she is shade-touched, or that her interest in death is some kind of genetic trait. That’s another thing to not ask Murkwater about, as she came to the Nest at a very young age, way back when the Nest was an infant itself, and it would be considered ...tactless, for want of a better word. Her own children show no signs of weird nether-y necromancy-related stuff. That we know of. Vasilisa, uh, isn’t exactly a reassuring candidate.
