Azrial serves the nest as... not exactly a judge or an enforcer, but something of that aspect. Given his Ice-born tendencies for being distant and his innate talent as a Skydancer for reading emotions, he acts as a sort of living lie detector for the Nest. There are, however, doubts as to how trustworthy he really is in this role, as he's been known to swiftly condemn accused dragons he doesn't like.


Having been brought to the Nest as a hatchling, he's adopted Lightning's ambition (despite the, ah, overall lack thereof in his new caretakers) - which has manifested in his deliberately styling himself to appear as a messianic figure. This... isn't a good way to make friends. A number of Nestmates dislike him for this.


Coolaid in particular sees him as a rival, and though she won't "stoop to the level of fighting with children," it's suspected that she and Azrial have been secretly trying to destroy each other through trickery and lies.
