One day, a powerful spirit, a force to rival deities, descended into the body of a dragon.

She, who took the name of Naga, had wandered Sornieth for many, many years, in search both of truth, power and knowledge, and of others of her kind.

The former were easy to attain for her, a being on a level all of her own. The latter, however…

She could sense their presence - all powerful beings can, to some degree, feel whether something is as powerful as them. But there was no presence for her to feel, nothing at all.

Naga pondered.

She could, of course, ask the deities themselves. Powerful as she was, though, she had no way of knowing how they would react or what their answer would be. She was strong; they were stronger.

But it finally happened - the Sunbeam Ruins, a place of great mystical energy, drew her towards them.

No - towards something there.

And right as she was about to find the source of that force, a young dragon stopped her…

“Traveler! Are you in search of a place to rest? You may stay with us, if you wish.”
