Fall

Uh-oh, looks like this gorgeous adventurer wannabe wandered a little too far from his lair (152928, theflamebreath), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here.

Fall is still new to life, but he thought he had found everything he wanted: A nice lair, funny clanmates, a role as the clan digger, which reflected his ambitions to become a treasure hunter.
He had even believed to have found the love of his life in the beautiful Morgana, with who he had believed to have quite the chance, but her being stubborn in not wanting to settle down yet, and have some fun, crushed this poor Skydancer's dreams and made him lose all of his self-assurance.
This is why he has decided to start his own adventure, outside his lair, maybe even outside his flight! With the final objective of becoming the greatest explorer of all time while at the same time either finally finding his true love or returning home with impressive tales to tell (and to impress the stubborn lady with), he now wanders in the great world.

He followed the winds, spreading his wings to let them carry him where they would, unconcerned with destination. He blew in ahead of a storm into the Shifting Expanse, touching down when electricity forced him to land. Here he found himself in a clan with a seemingly manic drive to make and improve.

A massive Machine of unknown make or purpose wove through carved halls and walkways. Arches and domes rose above the caverns, carved and set from rock and melted together to a seamless obsidian. Lightning-catchers buzzed with excess energy, funneling it down to a great battery that hummed and sparked. All of this and more caught his fascination and imagination... but not as much as an artistic ridgeback named Autumn.

For her, Fall fell, and hard. It wasn't long before the two of them had a nest of their own, and he found he had a new drive to find things.

But he was intimidated at her increasing skill. He couldn't provide the quality of things she needed anymore. Over time, his hesitation allowed them to grow distant... so in the middle of the night, he ended up slipping out into the night, trying to find a way to improve himself. He'd deserve her, someday..


After having been disregarded by his own beloved mate, and having realised his son barely recognized him after such a long absence, he consulted the leader of the Council and founder of the clan, Brinewings. With him, he agreed to take part in a project that would have taken him back to those lands he already knew pretty well, the deserts under the domain of the Stormcatcher, making his way through even harsher landscapes. He set off with only the bare necessities, in his heart the hope to find soon somewhere to settle down and not think about his past.
