Biography

Uh-oh, looks like this brilliant bat wandered a little too far from her lair (Celestriakle 93621), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here.

A journey

You've grown bored here at this inn, bored of your mate, bored of your life. You really did try, but all Fufluns talks about these days is his new obsession with the Shadowbinder. Despite living on the Mirrorlight Promenade, he swears she is the highest goddess. You get it; she made your breed, but you just don't care anymore. The only light left in your life is your friend Etori, but even she cant keep you here any longer. You're out.

You don't get far before you encounter the lair of the Shadowtouched. "Come" says Ciara " Let's go play some games in the Coliseum, you'll love it there." So you go and fight and you DO love it there. Ciara is so proud that she gives you a simple gold necklace as a token of your bravery.

The coli is fun, and your new friend is nice, but you just don't have the deep bond with them that you did with your friends back home. You feel lonely, and you know your welcome in the lairs of others is wearing thin. You return home, but it is not as you had left it. (Well, almost: Fufluns is as obsessed with Shadowbinder as ever. You don't know how his new mate can tolerate it). Dragons had come and gone, and most importantly, the dragon you most crave to see, Etori, is nowhere to be found. Overcome with both rage and guilt, you learn Etori has left to find you. That stupid lizard! If only you had come earlier. If only the two of you could travel together. Perhaps this might be a case of the Baku chasing its tail, but there is only one thing to do. You have to find Etori herself. You set off again.

You trudge through the red lands of the Scarred Wasteland and find a grounded airship. The stranded Wind clan on board welcomes you as best as they are able, but they know nothing of Etori. You thank them for their hospitality, however limited it may have been, and journey on.

Just as you reach the entrance to the Lights of Seireitei lair you notice a shining object glittering behind a ruined pillar. Brushing aside the grass you find a set of Simple Gold Bracelets. Slipping the item onto your arm you enter the lair and are greeted by the matriarch who introduces you to the aloof Kalam. After a short but sweet courtship with the Guardian you hatched a nest of three, your favourite of which was a pretty girl born with her father's circuit gene. Leaving the miracle hatchling with her father you bid them a fond farewell, feeling the need to once again step out into the unknown.

Still Etori was nowhere to be found, and you became weary of the search after weeks of finding not even a trace. You were on the brink of exhaustion just as a snow storm hit you! You didn't notice that you had wandered off so far before, and now it was almost impossible to keep flying. While descending, you saw another dragon who was hit by the storm, but he seemed accustomed to it. Twisting and turning, riding the wind as if it were a mere breeze, the Spiral seemed to be making good progress. His skill and luck couldn't last forever though, as a large gust of wind hit him. He seemed to be coming closer to you now rather quickly! Luckily, you were able to move out of the way before he fell in the exact spot you had been standing in. Of course you helped him afterwards and he thanked you and introduced himself. His name was Sagor, and he was from a clan which was pretty nearby. He invited you to come and, since you were tired of traveling in search of Etori, you decided a short break wouldn't be too bad. Flying in this storm would be too difficult anyway.

The few days you had planned to stay turned into a few weeks and then a few months. The fact that it kept snowing didn't really help with getting away from there, but the dragons were all very nice as well! They had given you Simple Gold Wing Bangles and Wing Cuffs because of the help you had given Sagor and they kept trying to give you more gifts, but you refused. You were glad that you were allowed to stay for a long time and that there was plenty of food to go around, but you knew you had to be off again soon. The snow storms couldn't last forever.

The first day that the storms had lifted, you were ready to go. You'd continue your journey and find Etori.

Your search returned you to the Lightweaver's domain, this time searching the small villages scattered among the ruins. Unfortunately no one admitted to seeing any dragons by the name of Etori. You stay in a nearby hotel for your final night in the Hewn City and bring yourself to have some more faith in your friend, knowing she will return someday. While you're concerned about your friend, you decide to set out on your own adventure hoping that you'll both meet again down the road.

You flew South, down near the edge of the Sunbeam Ruins. You almost dive straight into the stormy, grueling domain of the Stormcatcher, but something catches your eye. A tall, crumbling keep, looming on the edge of the cliffs. You approach the near abandoned-looking building, and are immediately greeted by her. The intimidating banescale gives you a long stare, and flies off. You feel like you just passed a test you didn't know you were taking.

Inside, a much kinder dragon welcomes you. Ragnufel is one of several caretakers of this place, the Dawnfall Library. You're amazed at the thousands upon thousands of books and shelves that fill its rooms. He shows you to some rooms reserved for travelers, where you can spend a night or two if you so choose. You are tired from today's traveling, so you decide to rest for the night. In the morning, you ask around to see if anyone's seen someone who matches Etori's description. No one recognizes her or the name, so you're off as soon as breakfast is finished (you couldn't pass up the offer of free food!).

You spend quite a lot of time at one lair! The lightning flight is fascinating and you enjoy the food as well as the culture. You feel that its very open and the electricity in the air is electrifying! You're happy to meet some new friends, including Jadewhisker who taught you more about the lightning flight and the past of the clan. The clan you visited had be around for a very long time, and you quickly felt right at home.

However, after a while, you felt it was time to leave! You took yourself and your memories and went on to find another clan to enjoy.

Flying back north, you find yourself in the Sunbeam Ruins once again. Surveying the landscape from above, you travel for several days before stopping to rest with a clan on the Mirrorlight Promenade.
