It's been years since Lupinus began wandering the brambles and the fungal overgrowth of his home, largely abandoned with members of his clan scattering in the hopes of survival. He's been traveling with Passiflora, the duo passing between the strangled treeline and surviving as best as they can with only each other for company. Watching the flourishing lairs around, the unfortunate run in with clans who showed little hospitality or care for the travelers, time began to show Lupin something new - the dragons around him in these lairs began expressing abnormalities in their sights. They've begun to express something impressive in those eyes - something new. Varying expressions of sight inciting a jealousy that burned a low fire through the length of his entire body, it became apparent to Lupin what he needed for himself more than anything else: a manifestation of altered sight. Encouraged by the pestering of Passiflora, the duo continue their search for a new home and a place to safely land and come back to. Moving from the shadows and the looming trees of the Wispwillow Grove, it was becoming clearer that the lights around were becoming brighter and more blinding. Over the course of their travels, the pair found themselves flying into the territory of the Sunbeam Ruins, twisting their ways forward until their flight landed them in the Sundial Terrace. Exhaustion overtaking the pair, the two brothers coiled themselves to sleep around the ruins to gather enough energy to hunt for more insects in the morning. |
