Survive long enough to spread your legacy--such are the ideals of many dragons in the Scarred Wasteland, and thus it's no surprise that in Plague territories, you can trace long lineages of Plague across the Wastes. Therefore, it is unique to find a lineage of Shadow and Arcane as opposed to Plague, and yet such is the heritage of those in CrossPoison's line, one of the legacies Kalea shoulders. Known for their eccentric nature, massive magical reserves, and peculiarly colorful sweaters, CrossPoison's children are an oddity in a region that holds the ideals of bloodlines and purity so tightly. Kalea is no exception to her family and is skilled at using magic of multiple sorts. She radiates magical potential, a constant aura of magical energy faintly surrounding her. She could become a talented spellcaster, able to use all elements if she so chose and applied herself, though for now she specializes in Shadow, Arcane, and Plague. Her magical prowess also manifests in other, subtler ways--dragons around her often are charmed by her in ways that are uncanny. Even the grumpiest of dragons tend to warm up around her given time. The young imperial seems unaware of her ability, simply chalking it up to her charisma and luck. In truth, the magic constantly radiates off her out of necessity--too much magical potency and she unleashes all of her power in explosive, deadly blasts, thus her body subconsciously adapts. Despite having such vicious power humming under her skin, Kalea is either unaware or unwilling to truly wield it. Instead she joyfully goes about her life with a naive and carefree nature, sticking her nose into all sorts of dangerous situations without concern. She sees herself invulnerable alongside the Pack and fears little, and someday that fearlessness is bound to get her into some sort of trouble. It's why her twin cares so much for her well-being, acting like the voice of reason to Kalea's impulsive behavior and general rambunctious attitude. They work well together, and Kalea would have it no other way. Born in Shadow to CamelCase, Kalea was stolen away shortly after she hatched. Kidnapped by a mirror whose name is long since lost to time, she was gifted to Mellori as a reward for her service. The Houndmistress was resentful at the time of being stuck with the burden of an extra mouth to feed, yet the Pack adored Kalea and her playful nature slowly caused Mellori to warm up to her. After time, Mellori adopted Kalea officially, naming her and giving her a set of armor that belonged to Mellori's long dead son. Now Kalea makes a name as one of the Houndmaster's apprentices, knowing that one day she and her twin will inherit the Pack and carry on their adopted mother's legacy. She happily follows after the Pack and works as a mercenary as well. Whereas Mellori is vicious force, and Kyrja is keen tactics, Kalea is a magical powerhouse. Even if she doesn't tap into her full reserve of magic, she's still a strong spellcaster and is familiar with all sorts of magics. She's been picking up magic from the other elements whenever possible.
