Biography

Greenwing, named for the obvious hue of his wings, is an Arcane dragon and the Patriarch of a small clan in the Starfall Isles. Located inside a large cave that opens up to the stars, Greenwing and Windwar met on a moonlit night. Originally hatched here, he abandoned the Isles at an early age, thirsty for adventure and curious about the world more than he was going on his rite of passage--though eventually, he began his Search, like all Guardians. During his travels, he became wise and battle-hardened, but found nothing that he felt worth guarding. Curious, like most Arcane dragons, one day he encountered another who was interested in the world around them, and the two decided to roam together, for they shared their love for the Arcanist and a similar birthplace, and traveling proved more fun with a companion.

After seeing the world, however, he longed for home.

Eventually, he settled back in his original home, realizing that his companion, Windwar, was, indeed, the one he'd always been destined to guard. Deciding to guard one another with their lives (as well as their children and the lair they'd build), they settled down happily in their old home. The had three children: Persephone, Iolanthe, and Bao, who wandered off to regions unknown at an early age, taking after her parents. Persephone and Iolanthe remained at home, as they are still young, though they often leave the nest nowadays. Windwar is his Searchmate, and though he has had other flings like many dragons, at the end of the day, it is with her he stays.

He cares for all his sons and daughters, even those he and Windwar have found abandoned in eggs on occasion, and imparts his wisdom and knowledge of battle to them. He tries (read: tries) to keep them out of too much trouble... though, with Iolanthe, this does not always work out, and has not since she was small. He is closest to Persephone, however, and the two share a special bond as father and daughter, one that will never be broken, no matter how far she goes.

He is fond of all things venomous, for some bizarre reason, particularly snakes. He is a fierce fighter who can take many hits, and would guard his lair and kin with his life--it would be unwise to mess with any of those things or him, for you would have a formidable opponent if you did.

Exalting Greenwing to the service of the Arcanist will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
