Iolanthe

Iolanthe was one of Windwar's first three hatchlings with her mate Greenwing. She is a mother's girl at heart, however, and always stays close to home. Like her mother, she shares a deep curiosity about the world around them and other dragons... except, unlike her mother and her sister, Iolanthe seems to be convinced (and has been ever since she was small) that it's inhabitants were born to serve HER whims. Unlike Persephone, who tends to be more down to earth, Iolanthe is a daydreamer with aspirations of becoming her own Goddess someday, but though she is still a mortal dragon, this has not stopped her from running around calling herself a Goddess. (Given the breed's size, she feels entitled to think so, as well.) Anyone who would catch her eye would have to put up with her rather constant chatter and curiosity, asking questions to which she automatically expects an answer. She is used to getting her way, and when things do not pan out, she becomes rather infantile, demanding the Goddess get what she deserves.

Her mother finds it amusing, but no, she did not spoil her. Iolanthe came across this ancient headdress wandering in her youth from home and decided it was meant for her. Her favorite color is purple--the same as herself, of course, and she adores Egyptian-esque fashion accessories. She encountered the Mirror Rocco injured outside her lair and took him back home with her, her Guardian Search instincts unable to resist. She has since taken to guarding him, believing he is meant to be her one true servant. ... Which is good, because given he is a Mirror, he doesn't seem to care much for her incessant chatter and demanding attitude; at the end of the day she's a decent hunter and a good guardian partner in combat, and she took care of him. An odd couple to be sure.

Iolanthe aspires to someday leave her home and create a beautiful temple all her own. She is an amateur mage and enjoys Runestones and, like her sister Persephone, stargazing. She has a keen interest in ancient history, as well. She is very close to her mother Windwar, her father Greenwing, and her sister, Persephone, who somehow manages to put up with her chatter and fantasy. She doesn't see anything wrong with the other inhabitants of the lair, often helping to care for the younger dragons, though sometimes she can annoy the older ones (especially Fleija, who wonders about if she's got a brain in her head at all), she views them all as her "subjects" the same, and no one element is worse to her than any other. Obviously, she's more partial to Arcane than others. She can usually be seen pestering Rocco or Persephone if she isn't with her parents or out looking at old historical places and ruins.
