as Rai's right-claw, Bluebell is heavily involved in clan politics, and works closely with Rai on a regular basis. Bluebell would describe themself as the clan leader's "tactical adviser", but Rai would rather describe Bluebell as his "political nanny and saving grace".

cool and collected, Bluebell lives as pragmatically as possible, wasting no extra energy on either stress or trifling matters. such mild emotional energy makes Bluebell the perfect counterpart to Rai's constant stress levels, and they often help Rai settle down after a long day. Bluebell has great confidence in their tactical knowledge and plans, but even when such plans fall through, they, as practical as ever, waste no energy on worry, and instead strive towards fixing or working around the problem. Bluebell inherited their parents' quiet demeanor, but none of their meek personalities; Bluebell's just as stubborn as their mate (if not moreso) when they come to a solid decision.

seeing as Bluebell was hatched and raised with the Roaan, Bluebell is almost perfectly fluent in Centaur; only the structural build of their throat and mouth compared to Centaurs trip them up, rather than any shortcomings in knowledge. they've got a fairly decent understanding of Serthis and Talonok as well. a dragon of few words in any language, Bluebell is skilled at getting ideas across in a concise, accessible manner.

Bluebell grew up with their mother's emotional influence and projections constantly at the back of their mind. while certainly not as talented in such spiritual manipulation as Eclypse, they've gained a small degree of control over emotions, and have grown adept at reading the emotions of others. this has become an invaluable asset in diplomatic affairs, and they've gained the reputation of a "lie detector" among neighboring clans. though this talent has had the side affect of making Bluebell even more "toneless" than the norm of the Fae breed, since they're so used to having their emotions directly read and understood by their mother without the need for body language or tonal changes. thus, Bluebell speaks straight deadpan, and their frills barely move in response to their emotions. however, as Bluebell has met more dragons over the years (particularly other Fae), they've been learning to express more body language for easier communication.

while not shy, Bluebell is quite introverted, and will not go out of their way for interaction. thus, outside work, they either spend time alone, with their parents, or with Rai. they've also grown closer to Penelope over the years, finding solidarity in their similar personalities.

Bluebell has learned some of the massaging techniques their parents know so they may be able to relieve some of Rai's pains themself. while Eclypse and Felly's more experienced paws still work out a lot of Rai's aches, Bluebell has become quite the masseuse as well.

when they were young, Bluebell was rather plagued by night terrors. night after night, the hatchling would wake up screaming, scrambling to escape the horrifying images and sensations flashing across their mind. sleeping with their mother would ward off the nightmares, as her spiritual influence could balance their emotions and overworking neurons, but this wasn't a solution Bluebell could accept. Bluebell was a stubborn whelp, and wanted to conquer these terrors on their own. it was during one of their restless nights that their nighttime terror attracted the attention of a nearby Dreameater, Benji. Eclypse and Felly were shocked to find Benji watching over the tiny Fae the next morning, Bluebell sleeping soundly as ever. Benji, from then on, always appeared by Bluebell's side at night, ready to consume their abundant nightmares. for the first decade of their life, Bluebell had no idea Benji even existed, as he slipped away every morning before the young Fae woke up. Eclypse and Felly felt no need to tell Bluebell the truth-- the youngling was just so proud of their perceived independence. several years passed before Bluebell happened upon Benji and learned the truth. at that point, Bluebell was already past that more 'obnoxious' phase of their life and contently accepted the mutualistic relationship they had unknowingly formed.
