Cyrus is the second of Cassandra's children, the middle child and a bit of a loner. He was always more quiet than his siblings - Caroline was outspoken and Cory was boisterous - and he never saw the point in loud emotional outbursts. Cyrus is stoic and soft-spoken, more content to curl up with a good book than go outside and hunt for monsters or go on imaginary adventures.
When the three of them were older his siblings settled more, and Cyrus himself found a role to which he was suited perfectly. While Caroline learned to forge, as was befitting the future matriarch, and Cory learned to fight and hunt and scavenge, Cyrus took on more bookish pursuits. His father Cedric helped him in this endeavor, always encouraging him to fly on his own wind. He left on a journey in the pursuit of knowledge, going first the Sunbeam Ruins, famed for it's collection of lore, and then to the Starwood Strand, intent to apprentice with great mages there.
