"War's a dirty game - and I'm a dirty player!"
Profile: Underneath Blades' aerodynamic iridescent skin beats the heart of your basic street fighter. He would much prefer using his Valkyrie Blade to slash through a horde of Shade-tainted enemies than to fly. But his career keeps him in the air most of the time, and that really fires his anger. Not only is he prevented from engaging his enemies in hand-to-hand combat, but he can only strike at them by long-range air attack, a way he considers unsporting and cowardly. "If I'm gonna destroy someone, I want his guts spurting all over me, not the ground below," says Blades. But this doesn't preclude Blades from doing his job and doing it well, a fact of which his fellow clan mates are deeply appreciative.
Abilities: Blades can reach speeds of 400 mph and has a range of 1,200 miles. He knows armor-piercing magic, as well as magic for light-bursts with the equivalent brightness of 5,000 watt light bulbs, enough to temporarily blind all but those whose eyes are the most heavily shielded.
Weaknesses: In flight, Blades is ineffective in winds of more than 40 mph, and is liable to crash in winds of more than 60 mph. His wing bones are prone to stress fractures if not checked after every 5,000 miles of usage.
History: Originally a Mirror, hatched in an allied clan from the clan's matriarch, Blades studied search and rescue work under Firestar in Clan Crystal City, though he could never keep his fighter's heart throttled. He grew to have:

Weight: 382.84KG
Then, on one rescue mission, he failed to save a Pearlcatcher, but the Pearlcatcher, with his dying words, insisted that Blades take his Pearl. Blades grudgingly complied, and he started hearing things, seeing things.
Eventually (December 24, 2015), Blades transformed into a Pearlcatcher - though he remains as violent as he's ever been.
