Bailey is seen as the kindly grandmother of the clan. She was the leader when the clan started in the Viridian Labyrinth, and was a pillar of great strength as the clan decided to leave the Gladekeeper and join the Arcanist. The clan was still very small at this time, and few dragons remain from before the move.

During the journey to find a new lair to call home, Bailey silently decided that it was time for her step down. She felt as though she was a kind of relic of the old ways from Nature, and did not have much place in a position of power in her new home, as before she was not wise enough in the ways of the Arcanist.

Slowly, she's taken less and less actions as the leader, and while she is still the official mantel head, she lets most disputes and negotiations settle themselves without her input. She is the official leader, and that is an empty title until she chooses the nest one.
