Pitaya came to the lair solemn and unnamed. He was always very quiet, and nervous about making friends. However, that didn't stop Citrus from taking a shining to him. She declared his name to be Pitaya, since she liked fruit and she liked him. Since she first saw him, Citrus grew ever attached to the Skydancer male, and they eventually became mates with each other.

Pitaya is often the only voice of reason in Citrus' escapades.
